The annual spring dance recital is an opportunity for family, friends, the general public, and LI community to come together and share in the learning of students of  Lyndon Institute’s Dance Program. This spring's performance will feature students in the Jazz Dance class, the audition based Dance Company, contemporary dance club, pointe club, hip hop dance club, and tap dance club. Choreographies will not just showcase learning in the foundational studies of dance technique and artistry (specifically the art of and various styles/forms of modern and jazz dance studies) but will also demonstrate student's skills and knowledge utilizing the use of the elements of dance (time, space and energy) to highlight understanding and communication of the evolution of dance, cultural inspirations in American dance, and personal relations of identity through the expression of movement.

This year's spring recital will feature senior dancers and a ceremony to induct new members into the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA).

The annual LI Spring Dance Recital will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Lyndon Institute Alumni Auditorium. Admission is by donation.
