Betsy Bailey started her childcare business in 1997 with 12 children in East Burke.  In 2007, she moved her business to the Lyndon/St. Johnsbury Industrial Park and is now serving 150 children and families. This provides not only child care, but wrap-around services for families such as housing, addressing food insecurities, financial help, and assisting families in times of need  

She serves on or has served on a number of community boards including: Lyndon Youth Soccer, Powers Park, Lyndon Recreation Committee, Lyndon Institute Booster club, Steering Committees for Vermont Early Childhood Advocacy Alliance, Building Bright Futures, All Things Lyndon and currently serves as a Corporator for NVRH. 
Betsy resides in Lyndonville with her partner Joe, her two sons Davis ‘14, and Beckett ‘26, and her daughter Haylie ‘23.

She spends most of her free time chasing her children in their sports and interests.
She is thankful for her time at LI which helped her build confidence in education and fulfill her dreams and she looks forward to helping Lyndon students fulfill theirs.
