Biography

David, and his wife, Betty Ann, have raised their two boys, Cam and Ty, in Lyndonville. When the boys were young, he was actively involved in coaching baseball and flag football. However, it was when the boys took an interest in hockey that we became a family obsessed. He was very active coaching in LAYHA at the 8U and 10U levels and continued coaching outside of the local program. Both of their boys are pursuing dreams of playing at the collegiate level and they do their best to provide them with the opportunities needed to gain that type of preparation and exposure. David grew up in a small community, quite similar to Lyndonville, in Western Massachusetts. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned an MBA at Suffolk University, Boston. Prior to moving to the NEK, he had a career in greater Boston in consulting and information systems, including a fun stint at Reebok. Once in Vermont, and prior to his role as a financial advisor, he had been an entrepreneur, an executive at Burke Mountain Ski Area and a stay-at-home dad. Education is a foundational pillar to a fulfilling life; Lyndon Institute is important to him because of this central role it plays in our community for our young people.
