Anna Saco is a 2013 graduate of Green Mountain College with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geology. Her certifications and experience include 10 years of Wilderness First Responder, Game of Logging Level 1 and 2, Public Lands Certificate, and Wildlands Fire Fighter Level 2. Anna has a combined 12 years of experience in the fields of adventure education, conservation, land stewardship, environmental science, and backcountry leadership. She has held positions that provided experience in trail building, backcountry guiding (backpacking, backcountry skiing, rock/ ice climbing, horseback guiding), backcountry search and rescue/ wilderness medicine, prescribed burns/ fire crew, general conservation, and land management projects. Additionally, Anna is involved with Northwoods and has worked with them for the past three years. She is a former Special Olympics coach for skiing, swimming, and bowling. Anna resides in East Charleston, Vermont.
